Known primarily for its' premier rap roster, Priority records is now a part of The Capital Group. Some of the more notables on their roster includes Chingy, Snoop Dog, Lil' Romeo, Ice Cube and Funkadelic, but the label is probably most famous for bringing to the forefront the group N.W.A. back in the early 80"s and introducing the nation to the West Coast Rap Sound.

Over the years, the label has expanded into a much more musically diverse label. Their roster includes Lil Kim, Jewel, Brandy, Matchbox20, Sean Paul and Kid Rock amongst others.
