do I have to become an Industry Resource member?
A. We want to customize
your experience! In order for us to keep track
of your account preferences, MP3 uploads, song
reviews, search agents, favorites, and music
preferences, we need to know who you are. That
is why we ask you to become a member.

should an artist pay to become a member?
A. The Industry
Resource is committed to helping our artists
promote their music to the entire entertaiment
industry. However, as a Gold and Gold+ member
you receive a higher level of service, support
and discounts that are not available to Silver
(free) members. These extras include:
1. Email support
2. Priority
placement in all search results
3. Inclusion
in promotional emails to industry pros
4. Free submissions
to The Industry Roll Call
5. Discounted
fees for any additional services (Your Big Break,
etc.).

What are the differences between
Silver, Gold and Gold+ memberships?
A. There are several
differences between Silver, Gold and Gold+ memberships
plans. Please view the following
chart for a full listing of services provided
to each type of membership.

Q. Why
can't people under the age of 13 become members?
A. The Industry
Resource cannot accept registrations from children
under the age of 13 due to the Children's Online
Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). You can learn
more about COPPA at the Federal
Trade Commission website.

What if I forgot my password, or have the wrong
password?
A. Have your password
emailed to you by clicking Forgot
Password? under member login. You will need
to enter your current membership email address
on file.

do I change my username or password?
A. Sign in and click on the
Edit Account link. Under the heading
"Edit Account," enter your new username.
Then scroll down to the heading "Change
Password" and enter your new password. Then
click the SUBMIT button to save your changes.

What about my copyrights?
A. The Industry
Resource recommends that each song you upload
to our servers be copyrighted. Therefore, any
song submitted for a Roll Call submission or
found in a search can be protected by the intellectual
property laws of your country. For more details,
